Wildfire.

Is they are really wild as we think?

Over the past 100 years, mankind has cut / burned out 50% of all forests on the planet. But the forest fires did not decrease. We are actively fighting global warming. With the preservation of wildlife as it is. And in 2020 we are meeting with new terrible forest fires.

Now we have fire planes and helicopters. Bulldozers for laying fire-fighting trenches. Since recently, drones for monitoring large areas of the forest, and the number of population that can cope with a forest fire has grown dramatically.

Forest fires on our planet began with the appearance of the forests themselves, and no one then moaned about the catastrophic consequences. And mankind did not make forest fires a big problem.

It is very easy to set fire to the forest, and if no one saw you during this crime, then it is almost impossible to catch you. Therefore, the fight against the forest fires is practically pointless. Early detection and fire strips work best. Also controlled preventive forest burning and planting of badly burning shrubs and trees.

The outbreak of forest fires in recent years, although they tried to explain by the ongoing global warming, but they took place in countries where they are irresponsible in regard to preventive measures and a lot of other things too. After all, having suffered from terrible fires, you can ask for international help and everyone will pretend that everything is fine.

And now the American state of California is on fire. Let's see the statistics on Wikipedia. The fifth economy in the world. 40 million population and the size of Spain. A bunch of high-tech corporations with an incredible amount of development, including a flight to Mars.

And despite the fact that just two years ago in California there were already the biggest fires in its entire history, they did not draw any conclusions there.

Looking at the table, we see that the fires were in a very small area compared to competitors. And the consequences are the most severe. The largest death toll and an incredible number of buildings burned. Of course they will tell you that everything is insured there and you shouldn't worry. After all, frame houses and other structures are easily erected and there is a reason to insure them again, as a huge number of jobs and most likely new businesses will be created. However, the fact that the California state in terms of size and population is near Spain cannot cope with forest fires raises doubts about the correctness of the fire policy.
