The new interesting topic my friend about visas. And what happen with them in the world. In western Europe in the late 19th century and early 20th century passports, and visas were not generally necessary for moving from one country to another. The relatively high speed and large movements of people travelling by train would have caused bottlenecks if regular passport controls had been used. Even not so much people travelled.

Long before that, in ancient times, passports and visas were usually the same type of travel documents. In the modern world, visas have become separate secondary travel documents, with passports acting as the primary travel documents.

And now in 2020 covid-19 era we have the complicated system of different type of visas permissions, and other restrictions in law in different countries the countries who invent such restrictions.Even they declareing the freedom of movement. Only a few countries in the world ,like Madacaskar grant permission as a general rule for all arriving visitors. Citisens of top 30 countries(by travell passport index) can travel without permission to 168 or more countries and territories (The total number countries and territories is over 215). So I can consider that they have privelege to live in the same system as it was before World War I.

In the bottom of list visa restrictions countries like Afganistan, Ciria, Iraq,Somali and a bunch of poor or under war or other desaster conditions countries. The situation why citisens of this countries have so tough restrictions easy to understand.

Ok . Let's talk about the middle. The citisens of not the first 30 countries and not from the bottom.

In wikipedia you find a List of travel bans by citizenship. Some bans from Kirgistan to USA, or Philippines to South Korea , Taiwan and Georgya(Gruzia), raise questions. What is so strong problems with the citisens of such states, that even USA can't deal with that? Even this countries made ban on passports and only, some Asian countries like Azerbaijan and some arabic countries made restriction on nationalities to Armenians and jew.

An Interesting question about process of getting visa. One russian labor connected to visa application in U.K. procces discribed a situation when russian state secret agent service came to him and asked for cooperation, but he replied that you need to apply to another department, where i guess no foreignes. In other case a U.K. Immigration officer provided visas for brasilian girls after sex with him. In USA normal situation when you can be strongly checked in border control, even you have valid visas and rejected to entry to states. Usually all visas consulate never explain the reasons why they rejected for visas, and also a lot of cases when people applied for one type of visa more then 8 times. A lot of cases when people provided fake documents and got visa even some provided original documents and were rejected.

And a story when in deportation and illegal imigration center several people of geogian nationality from georgea asked russian guy what are you doing here, for us georgians the europians rejects for visas, if men from georgia want visa he need to pay 5000US$ to get visa. For you russians no any problem to get visa in Europe. What are you doing here they asked? That happened more then 10 years ago. Now the georgians has visa free acsess to EU.
