Recently one more robbery happened in Brazil. And thanks to the mobile technology we can see some evidence of this. In that robbery amasing that the "bandits" had made their getaway in a convoy of cars. An armed convoy that looks like police strike forces, aimed to fight against robberies.
Even they took for a while a hostages, this event didn't blown the world media.
The robberies of the banks probably started with the banks appearing, back in the middle ages centures. And in the beginning of the 20th centure the bank robbery was very popular all over the world. That why no enough historical evidence about bank robberies, because everyone in that time percived this like normal life.
Usually the robberies happened without victims, but one robbery happened in1907, in caucase city Tbilisi came in world news, because of over 40 people were killed in bomb attack. That was published in New York times and in the others world media.
In the beginning of the 20th century the rise of bank robberies was called by the big deformations in the world – to world wars and economic crisis in 20-30 years in 20th century of the world. Also in that time was invented the devices to protect banks from robberies, but the banks was very reluctant to install it.
After the WW2 the activity of bank robberies went down. And it looked that the problem went away.
Now we have security cameras, good reinforced storage for money and police have a huge experience in neutralisation robberies, but more and more people goes to the bank with arms in Russia and Brazil.
The statistics that 60% of the crime successfully investigated, probably true, but it didn't stop the rising number of crimes.
One interesting moment. In the Germany banks have a spesial pakage with money for robbers, that bankers should give the robbers during the robbery. In Former Soviet union countries the bankers went to the specil poligons to train there, be able to shot bank robbers with the gun.
And the last one. The ancient historical hero -Robin hood ,who robbed the rich, gave money to poors. The centures passed and they still deep in there soul some people respect the men, who robbing the richs. And the bankes are very rich. For all history there is no any bank who run to bancrupcy after robbery. Why don't rob a bank, after all, your money is insured by government.
