Horse as well as sailing as a means of transportation appeared 6000 years ago. But it even didn't helped people to move over the world . America was discovered only in the 15th century and from this period the conquest of the world began. But till the development of transport on steam engine, in second part 19th century, the people generally keep moving all there life in local area. So the human from 2.5 million years ago till 19th century addicted to spend all his life locally.
From the middle of the 19th century the moving between countries and continents rose dramatically. But it still was a one way voyage to most of passengers and mainly traveled europeans.
Now we have a jet aviation commercial jets, reducunig not only the time for travel but also the price dramaticaly. That caused more visa restrictions arount the world, but did not stop the mass migration. Mainly from 3-world to the rich countries.
Before the world carantine isolyation I had an idea that the cost for transcontinental voyages is very cheap. You can fly from Barcelona to Tokyo for only 400$ or from Tokyo to Sao paolo for 800$. In Europe you can fly for less then 10 euro. It's became possible to go on a job by airplane. Is this right? You can say that we get more and more opportunities in our life. We can eat more varity of food then before, more clothes, easy to go some where. But is it really good thing to go by air for very cheap price, makes possible to everyone in the world to go everywhere.
In recent years some weird avia accidents happened, and I thought about to reduce the number of air flights by raising the price for travel by air.
The reasons that the benefit to travel cheap for transcontinental voyage our world socity doesnt deserve. The number of people wanted to travel/imigrate is too much. What we now have in small developed coutries that they are overpopulated and too much migrantes there. A lot of people spend time on travel in far countries, the real benefit from this has only airlines. You can say that majority people in the world got opportunity to travel far for cheap, but the most number of people realy don't need to travel far. They travel there, because of friends, media promotions and other actions, but there desire to travel in far places realy doesn't comes from heart. The people from pure countries use this opportunity to go to reach one. The international marrige became more easy. To rise the price for international flights can be a good idea. At least 100 years ago people went cross the ocean forever. They never came back.
One more interesting thing, that all big airplanes make only two companies in the world.
Boing and Airbus. Both has incredible support from there governments. And even in that Boing had crisis before pandemic, now in pandemia time he still feels OK.
One Russian guy in TV interview told that, both Boing and Airbus told him that they don't allow Russian planes to go on the world market. Pompeo visited Ukraina to stop china to buy the Ucranian air engine producer.
The too succesful airplane producers Embraier and Bombadier was bought by Boing and Airbus. Some disapeared airplanes in epoh of gps, still causes weird questions. The world flight controlled by two countries. All world leaders use airplains to flight from Boing or Airbus. Even this airplans can fall and reasons, what happened can be Unclear.
And only Putin use russian produced airplane to flight.
